re-established when the Schmitt-Vitali family acquired the property in 1994.

2005 Le Fonti Chianti Classico DOCG
90% Sangiovese, 10% Merlot
Ruby red in colour and densely perfumed with cherry and blackberry aromas, this compelling, individual
wine is rich in flavour, with frisky fresh acidity, supple juicy tannins and a long, soft finish. Le Fonti’s Chianti Classico is a great 'all occasion' food wine, perfect with grilled meats and Italian pasta. It also complements rich and creamy Indian curries.

Deep ruby red in colour, this rich Riserva’s bouquet is lifted and perfumed with notes of violet, ripe cherry and spice. 2003 IGT Rosso Fontissimo
60% Sangiovese, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon
This Supertuscan was born out of Le Fonti’s passion for oak structured and fruity wines. ‘Papa’s Best’, as the family calls it, is matured for up to 20 months
in new French oak. This wine is dark purple in colour, with blackberries and currants on the nose, with a hint of vanilla, black cherry and chocolate.
The palate shows juicy, ripe black fruit flavours with a creamy finish. It is ideal served with meats, pasta and cheese.
