Le Fonti is a boutique producer
located in the famous wine town of Panzano, in the heart of the Chianti Classico region of Tuscany. The estate's 8 hectares of vineyards and 15 hectares of olive groves were re-established when the Schmitt-Vitali family acquired the property in 1994.

50% Sangiovese, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot
From the exceptional 2006 vintage, this Supertuscan is a blend of the finest grapes produced on the Le Fonti estate. Awarded the Tre Bicchiere (one of the highest honors given to fine Italian wine), this is a supremely structured and exceptionally balanced wine. Powerful and rich with the flavours of Tuscany, with well-integrated oak, this wine makes any meal an elegant occasion.

2006 Le Fonti Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG
90% Sangiovese, 10% Merlot
Deep ruby red in colour, this rich Riserva’s bouquet is lifted and perfumed with notes of violet, ripe cherry and spice. 2003 IGT Rosso Fontissimo
60% Sangiovese, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon
This Supertuscan was born out of Le Fonti’s passion for oak structured and fruity wines. ‘Papa’s Best’, as the family calls it, is matured for up to 20 months in new French oak. This wine is dark purple in colour, with blackberries and currants on the nose, with a hint of vanilla, black cherry and chocolate.
The palate shows juicy, ripe black fruit flavours with a creamy finish. It is ideal served with meats, pasta and cheese.
