The Italian word, ambiente, literally means 'environment', but it also refers to ambience - the feel of a place. The experience of drinking wine, especially Italian wine, isn't complete without an appreciation of ambiente - of how the wine, the food, the people and the place all connect with each other.
In our publication, 'Ambiente', we help customers build these connections by sharing our knowledge of the wines and the land from which they come.
In each edition, we focus on a particular wine variety, style, producer or region, drawing on the personal experiences of our winemaker, Justin Bubb.
